1. About RouteBeam

RouteBeam ("the App") is a mobile application developed and owned by Nicolas Bigny ("the Developer"). The App allows users to share location waypoints from Google Maps to compatible Garmin smartwatches via Bluetooth.

RouteBeam is available on Android via Google Play and the watch companion app is available on the Garmin Connect IQ Store.

2. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, graphics, logos, and trademarks associated with RouteBeam are the exclusive property of Nicolas Bigny and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

• The name "RouteBeam", the RouteBeam logo, and all associated branding are proprietary
• The source code of RouteBeam is protected by copyright © 2026 Nicolas Bigny. All rights reserved
• You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on RouteBeam without prior written permission
• Unauthorized use of RouteBeam's name, logo, or code may result in legal action

3. License to Use

The Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use RouteBeam for personal, non-commercial purposes on your own devices, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Rent, lease, sell, or sublicense the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
• Create competing products based on RouteBeam's concept or design without permission

4. Third-Party Services

RouteBeam integrates with third-party services that have their own terms and policies:

• Google Maps — subject to Google Maps Terms of Service
• Garmin Connect IQ — subject to Garmin's Terms
• Google Maps Geocoding API — subject to Google APIs Terms of Service

The Developer is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

RouteBeam is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. The Developer does not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Navigation data will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose
• The App will be compatible with all devices or operating system versions

Use RouteBeam as a supplementary navigation tool only. Never rely solely on RouteBeam for safety-critical navigation.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of RouteBeam, including but not limited to:

• Navigation errors or inaccurate location data
• Loss of data or device damage
• Personal injury resulting from reliance on navigation data
• Any interruption or unavailability of the App

7. User Responsibilities

By using RouteBeam, you agree that:

• You are responsible for your own safety while navigating
• You will comply with all applicable local laws and regulations
• You will not use the App while driving or in any situation where distraction could cause harm
• You are responsible for ensuring your Garmin device is properly set up and functional

8. Updates and Changes

The Developer reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue RouteBeam at any time without notice. Updated Terms of Use will be posted at routebeam.app/terms with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Termination

The Developer may terminate your license to use RouteBeam at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies from your devices.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of RouteBeam shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alicante, Spain.
